Is the preview free?
Yes. Making a preview costs nothing and needs no account or email. You only pay if you put it on a product.
Whose photo can I use?
Your own, or someone who has said yes, and everyone in the photo must be 18 or older. We don’t make portraits of children or of well-known public figures, and the page will say so if a photo can’t be used.
Will it still look like me?
That’s the whole point: your face, your hair, your expression, in a painted royal setting. If the likeness is off, a sharper front-facing photo usually fixes it, and you see the preview before you order anything.
What happens to my photo?
It is sent to our image service only to make your portrait. We don’t keep your photo; we keep the finished portrait so it can be printed if you order.
What can the mugshot board say?
Your names and a playful charge, a few short words each, in plain letters. Leave them empty and the two boards read PARTNERS and IN CRIME. You see it before anything prints.
Can we add a message, like Happy Anniversary?
Yes, on a canvas, poster or blanket, and on the round ornament: a short line such as Happy Anniversary, Love you forever, Always together, or your names and a date, up to 40 characters. It is set in classic type at the bottom of the picture (on the ornament a long line breaks in two), you see it before you order, and we print exactly what you typed.
How many can I make?
A few free previews per person per day. When you reach the limit the page tells you, and new ones open at midnight Eastern time.
Can I change my mind?
Yes. Ask for changes or a full refund any time before it prints.
