What is YomaChichi?
We turn a photo of your pet, of you, or of the two of you into a portrait, in the scene you pick — a Most Wanted mugshot, a stone gargoyle, a Renaissance saint and more — printed on a mug, a fleece blanket, a canvas tote, a cork coaster, a Christmas ornament or stocking, a hoodie, socks, a puzzle, a sticker sheet, a canvas print, a poster, a fridge magnet, a mouse pad or a phone case. Portraits of you, or of you and your partner or best friend (a royal couple, Greek gods, Partners in Crime and more), come on a mug, canvas, poster or blanket. Every item is made to order.
Can I make a portrait of me, of me and my partner or best friend, or of me and my pet?
Yes. Open our portrait maker, pick Just me, Two of us or Me + my pet, upload one photo and see your free preview in about 30 seconds. Everyone pictured must be 18 or older and have said yes. Full refund any time before it prints.
How does it work?
Pick the item and size you want and order it. Then send us your pet's photo — either on the product page before you buy (your portrait appears in about 30 seconds) or straight after checkout at yomachichi.com/pages/send-photo. You approve the finished portrait, and only then does it go to print.
Do I have to upload a photo before I buy?
No. Plenty of people would rather order first and dig out the right photo afterwards, so that's how it works. The free preview on the product page is there if you'd like to see your pet as a portrait first.
I ordered and haven't sent my photo — what now?
Go to yomachichi.com/pages/send-photo with your order number and the email you ordered with. It takes about a minute, and nothing is printed until you approve the result.
What photo should I upload?
A clear, well-lit photo where your pet's face is visible and in focus. Phone photos are perfect. Very dark, blurry, or tightly cropped photos give less accurate results.
Will I see the design before it's printed?
Always. We never print anything you haven't approved, and if it isn't right, tell us and we'll redo it at no cost before anything prints.
Will it actually look like my pet, or like us?
You don't have to guess: you see the finished portrait before you pay, and we print the one you approve. If the likeness isn't right, try another photo or another scene; a sharp, well-lit photo where every face is clear and in focus works best. If none of them looks right, simply don't order. The preview is free.
How are the portraits made?
Your photo is turned into an illustration with our portrait tool. That's why it takes seconds and why you can try again if the first one isn't right.
Can I put more than one pet on an item?
Yes. Choose 2 or 3 pets on the product page and upload one photo that shows all of them together.

How long does an order take?
Production usually takes 2–5 business days and shipping 2–5 business days, so most orders arrive in about 1–2 weeks. See Shipping.
When should I order for Christmas?
Each product page shows the date to order by for delivery in the US before the holiday. For Christmas that is Mon Nov 30 for everything we ship except our Gloofwiggle hug pillows, which ship from our print partner's facility in China: order those by Wed Nov 4. Personalized items start printing once you approve your design. We work each date out from our print partner's production time, the shipping time and a few spare business days, so it is a date we plan to keep, not a best case. How much is shipping?
Free, always. We ship within the United States.
What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?
We'll reprint or refund it. Email us within 30 days of delivery with a photo — see Returns.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Yes — any time before your item goes to print, in full, no questions. Just email team@yomachichi.com with your order number. We hold every order for at least 1 hour after checkout before it prints. See Returns.
What if I don't love it when it arrives?
Love it or we make it right: tell us within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint it free (in another scene if you like) or refund you in full — nothing to send back. Email team@yomachichi.com with your order number and a photo of the item. See Returns.
Can I give one as a gift without their photo?
Yes. Give a gift card: they upload their own photo, see the free preview and choose the scene and the item themselves.
Is this a good gift for someone whose pet has passed?
Many people order a portrait as a memorial keepsake. If that's your situation and you have a question about your photo, email us — we're happy to help.
What do you do with my photo?
We use it only to make your portrait and your order. We never use your photo or portrait in marketing without asking you first. See our Privacy Policy.
